2010 Finalist Companies Announced!!

This year’s finalist companies were selected from over 30 companies based throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington that applied to compete at the Willamette Angel Conference 2010. A rigorous selection process was undertaken by the 33-member panel of active angel investors to select the finalist companies. Each investor staked $5,000 to create the $165,000 investment award for this year’s event.
- Delta Point is commercializing a patent-pending cancer diagnostic imaging biomarker licensed from Oregon Health & Science University. DeltaPoint's software non-invasively diagnoses cancer by analyzing contrast enhanced MRI imaging studies (known as an imaging biomarker). (Portland, Oregon)
- InFuez has sustainably manufactured FUEZ to provide a stone like slab product that is green, local and highly refined for the commercial and residential industry. FUEZ is made with 100% Northwest curbside recycled glass, low carbon concrete, and other natural aggregates. (Portland, Oregon)
- Arcimoto is developing the Pulse - the first and only quality, enclosed, commute-capable electric vehicle at an affordable ($15K base) price point. Unique ultra-efficient vehicle designs and handling, as well as valuable technology IP will secure Arcimoto’s long-term position in the industry. (Eugene, Oregon)

Finalists will make a 10 minute presentation to an audience of investors.
2010 Finalists for the "Ignite-style" 3.5 minute pitch:
Six additional finalists were chosen for the ignite pitch portion of the event. These companies will have 3 1/2 minutes to pitch with 13 slides, 15 seconds for each slide. This part of the event is fast moving and high energy. After all the ignite presentations have been delivered, the audience will vote on a winner to move onto the 10 minute round and compete for a chance at the $165,000 investment.

- SureSize, Inc. is a disruptive technology that uses a consumer database to match people with shoes that fit and feel better, when they shop on the internet. (Lake Oswego, Oregon)
